TSA Management was engaged to develop and secure approval of a comprehensive Strategic Site Utilisation Options Plan for the Macquarie Hospital site comprising 48 hectares and owned by the NSW Health. TSA Management completed the strategic concept site master plan, a surplus land divestment strategy and an indicative cost plan and funding strategy.
TSA Management engaged the consultant team of service planners, urban designers, engineers and cost planners. Following rigorous review of existing strategies and policies of the client, the service requirements were determined and the facilities plan prepared to allow identification of the options for the development of the urban plan.
Preparation of the detailed master plan in response to the client brief gave consideration to functionality of the service, transportation, access for patents and goods and services, recognition of expired assets, future expansion plans, changes in the services delivery model, engineering services for the site in regards to storm water, power, sewer, telecommunications, etc.
TSA Management was also engaged to prepare the strategic business case. The objective being the consolidation of the existing facilities funded through a surplus land divestment strategy, all in accordance with the Government requirements.
