- Role: Procurement & Delivery Management
- Cost: $10 million
- Date: 2011 / 2012
As part of the Australian Technology Network’s (ATN) commitment to sustainability, the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) has made two strategic decisions relating to Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions. These include a minimum target of an 11% reduction in its GHG emissions by 2012-2013 and a longer term GHG emissions reduction target of 30%.
Following a campus-wide energy audit, and investigation by UTS’ GHG ER Consultant, UTS has identified various GHG emission reduction projects within the University’s air-conditioning and lighting systems.
Working closely with NDY (Energy Reduction Consultant) TSA Management is providing project management expertise in procurement for the delivery of this project through design, construction and retro-commissioning. The above projects due for completion by mid 2012, followed by a 12 month building monitoring and tuning period to maximise the performance and persistence of the implemented projects in reducing GHG emissions.
